This project was part of the first semester of Skills Integration 2 at Thomas More. Our team was tasked with creating a Figma design and detailed planning for a training sessions application intended for second-year students to use in their second semester. The application aimed to streamline the organization and delivery of training content, which would later be coded by another group of students. We collaborated with a group of new students, fostering strong bonds and delivering high-quality work.
I played a key role in designing the user interface in Figma, focusing on creating an intuitive and visually appealing layout. I also contributed to the project planning, defining user stories, creating wireframes, and establishing a timeline for development. My efforts ensured that the design was user-centered and the documentation was clear for the coding team.
This project taught me the importance of effective collaboration and communication in a team setting. Working with new students allowed me to build strong interpersonal connections and enjoy a positive team dynamic. I improved my skills in Figma for UI/UX design and gained experience in project planning, ensuring deliverables were well-prepared for the next phase.
